HNY indeed, and well done on getting the MIL on Debian! Still a Mac user here for reasons of integration and dual use needs for work, supported/approved platforms etc etc, and a few macos-specific apps that I find genuinely useful. But it's FOSS-ed up too, for anything where I can find that, and I tend to be terminal-first when possible. And so far, anything AI, even not very bright Siri, can be easily turned off.

I know a few other switchers that have navigated the Linux switch on their own, and they did that early on with Win11, before AI was suddenly a thing. I hope the momentum there keeps growing. It sure seems like MS is tone-deaf enough about AI that you could ask "are you TRYING to lose users?"
